The Story of Manvel Community Outreach

Manvel Community Outreach (MCO) was founded in 2015 by Ruth and Logan Dietz, It was born out of the work of Suzanna’s Cupboard, a food pantry created in 2008 that operated out of Grace United Methodist Church in Manvel, Texas. In January 2016, the food pantry lost the use of this operating space in Manvel. At the time, it was serving an average of 880 families every month. While searching for a home in Manvel for its food pantry operations, we worked in conjuction with the food pantry at the First Baptist Church of Fresno to serve the clients of both the Manvel and Fresno areas.

Finally, a new space was graciously offered by the Church on Masters Road and the pantry has reopened in the Manvel community as "The Well on Mastersroad" and operates from space inside The Church on MastersRoad.  We will be open each Thursday from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm for seniors and special needs, and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm for everyone else.
